Abstract
New Antenna geometries are continuously proposed by engineers and researchers in order to meet increasingly demanding characteristics of wireless communication systems. In this document a compact wire antenna consisting of two loops and pieces of radial wires is presented. It is found that electric and magnetic fields are produced mainly by different elements of the structure, thus permitting to establish a simple design procedure. An example is carried out for operation at the 433 MHz ISM band. Measured bandwidth is 2.27%.
