Abstract
In this paper, we present an automated technique for the measurement of building heights from SAR imagery. We apply a delineation algorithm to extract buildings and shadows from urban areas. From scattering and shadowing information, we obtain estimates of building heights over a range of aspect angles generated using squinted SAR processing techniques.
