Abstract
A method-of-moments finite difference time domain (MoM-FDTD) hybrid technique has been proposed to analyze a more accurate MIMO wireless channel model, and save CPU time significantly. Based on the channel transfer matrices obtained by the proposed technique, the effects of wall material and reflectivity have been investigated. It is found that a higher wall reflectivity could cause a higher MIMO channel capacity, so the wall reflection coefficient may be a valuable parameter to analyze the indoor MIMO channel capacity. It is desired that the present numerical results can provide some useful information to deploy the practical indoor MIMO communication system
