Abstract :
Femtocell, which is also referred to as "Home NodeB" (HNB), is proposed as one of the best complementary approaches for the future wireless communication. It\´s a low-power, lowcost cellular base station designed to serve a very small area, such as home or office. The scenario where there are several femtocells coexisted is discussed in this paper, which corresponds to the public place such as the cafe, restaurant, or train station, where many femtocells are deployed. As to this problem, the Voronoi diagram is used to control the coverage area of each femtocell. As femtocell base station is low-cost and small, the single antenna is used, thus, the ideal coverage shape is circle. The algorithm\´s behavior is to tune the transmitter\´s power to make base station\´s coverage shape approach its Voronoi polygon.
