Abstract :
Using the LBI (long baseline interferometer) mounted a moving observer, passive location system measures phase difference of emitting signals, tracks stationary and moving emitter. The system is more accuracy than bearing only passive location system. In this paper, the observability of the phase difference system is analyzed, and necessary and sufficient conditions of the phase difference system are presented and compared with that of bearing only passive location system.
