Abstract
It is difficult to evaluate the maintainability in design phase obviously. The system level and indicators selecting procedure are given in this paper, and the experience & data based synthetic evaluation method of system maintainability is structured to find out the key component and improving direction, providing a scientific and effective solution for maintainability evaluation. Subsequently, the method is applied in an amplifier system in its design phase. It helps designers to evaluate system´s maintainability more economically, and then direct maintainability design process scientifically, which plays more practical roles in the design phase.
