Abstract
In this paper, a new inverse algorithm is proposed for retrieving the effective parameters of unsymmetric metamaterials from three measurements of S-parameters. Analytic expressions for the effective properties of unsymmetric metamaterials are formulated in terms of ABCD matrix. With simulated or measured S-parameters for unsymmetric metamaterials, the effective parameters are retrieved
