Abstract
Discusses approaches that are expressed in coexistence policies that govern the behavior of DSA spectrum access protocol. In order to generate these policies, we are developing a Spectrum Analysis Module (SAM) that will become a key component of the policy generation system. SAM determines the relevant DSA policy parameters and prepares coexistence policies that are loaded into the DSA radios prior to their use. We expect SAM to become an integral part of operations support system necessary for deployment and use of DSA in the field.
