Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel antenna, which overcomes the above-mentioned issues. The proposed antenna is composed of arc strips. These strips are excited by a single coaxial line. Unlike the antenna in, no reactive elements are used. The proposed antenna is designated as the HP-ARC antenna (horizontally polarized arc antenna), in order to distinguish it from the HoPOMin.
