Abstract
The paper describes an operational Ka-band satellite antenna that provides pointing error information for land-mobile applications. The antenna performs a conical scan of the beam pattern and derives tracking signals by means of an analogue circuit. This work contributes to the development of a mobile satellite terminal for communication in disaster scenarios.
