Abstract :
The tolerance of coupling slots is a major factor to determine the performance of the waveguide slot array. Consequently, it is significant to discuss the effects of coupling slots tolerance on the slot array performance. In this paper, the effects of slot dimensions on the resonance frequency are analyzed at first. Secondly, the effects of equal-area bulletheaded slot on the resonance frequency is analyzed, and the modified expression of bulletheaded slot´s machining length is presented. The numerical results are useful for the design and processing of high performance slot array.
