Abstract
Due to the property of sensor devices, the sensor networks may easily be compromised by attackers who modify messages or provide misleading information to other sensor nodes. On the other hand, nodes in a sensor network may be lost because of power exhaustion or malicious attacks. Therefore, new node deployment is necessary. Based on the one-way hash function, this paper will present a new dynamic access control scheme for secure wireless sensor networks. In the proposed protocol, every node needs to perform only five hash function computations and four XOR (oplus) operations to accomplish mutual authentication and a shared key establishment. It is very simple and efficient.
