  • Abstract
In this paper, a new structure consisting of a planar inverted F antenna created from a loop structure with dual band performance is proposed. Low cross-polarization and low back radiation may make this antenna interesting for applications where these characteristics are desired (such as base station antennas, etc.). In addition to the basic structure introduced in this paper, a number of other structures with additional branches or parasitic resonators can be constructed to form additional bands and resonances
