Abstract
An optical heterodyne detection technique for a millimeter-wave-band fiber-radio signal with phase noise cancellation is proposed. Error-free detection of a 59.6-GHz, 156-Mb/s DPSK signal transmitted over a radio-on-fiber system is experimentally confirmed without any serious phase noise effect
