Abstract :
The new bus system have got wide application on the aircraft currently, so it is necessary to analyze the shielding efficiency of the bus connectors to ensure electromagnetic compatibility of the whole system. Transfer impedance is an effective attribute of shielding effectiveness of connectors. Based on the analysis of limitation of current test methods, a simple and convenient workbench setup has been developed to measure the transfer impedance of bus connectors. The transfer impedance characteristics have been acquired through lots of trials, meanwhile, a simulation of shielded bus connectors based on the measuring datum has proven to be consistent with the conclusion analyzed by experience formula.
