Abstract
A wideband (1-18 GHz) four channel microwave downconverter employing wavelength division multiplexing and optical amplification is demonstrated. Theoretical analysis and experimental results are included. A compressive dynamic range of 97 dBHz was obtained and performance improvements are outlined
