Abstract
A low-complexity Turbo iterative estimator for HF channel is proposed. The algorithm combines conventional channel estimator with Turbo equalization, which improves the estimation performance from decoding information. Computer simulations show that the performance of the proposed algorithm has a considerable improvement over that of the LMS algorithm without significantly raising its computational complexity and is efficient with Turbo equalization structure.
