Abstract
In the paper, in order to reliably transmit video data and preserve the required visual information to clients, progressive data reduction based on available bandwidth of camera or client is designed and dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm base on captured visual content information is proposed to raise bandwidth utilization. Furthermore, experimental results are shown to demonstrate the benefit and exceptional result of proposed progressive data reduction and dynamic bandwidth allocation method.
