  • Abstract
This paper introduces an embedded parallel system based on Ethernet, which is low-cost, configurable, scalable, and multi-purpose. Through optimizing the design of Ethernet communication protocol, MAC-layer enables data exchange between nodes in parallel system. The protocol can not only greatly reduce the communication overhead and enhance communication rate, especially the rate of short frame, but also improve the determinacy of communication. Using the simulation of asynchronous motor as an instance, this paper introduces parallel simulation method based on the platform and describes the implementation of parallel simulation task partition and scheduling. Based on the evaluation results of the parallel simulations of asynchronous motor, this paper verifies the feasibility of real-time simulation based on the parallel system. Compared with the serial simulation with single DSP, the parallel efficiency and speed-up ratio of the parallel system are determined.
