Abstract
With the rapid development of communication technology, how to achieve effective frequency assignment to improve the spectrum efficiency has become a main issue in spectrum management. In this paper, a four level forecast model is presented to judge the compatibility between two radios. The genetic algorithm is applied in frequency assignment and the construction procedure of the algorithm is given. Symbol encoding method is used in the algorithm, and roulette selection, single-point crossover and simple mutation are used as genetic manipulation. In order to improve the performance of the algorithm, the parameters of the algorithm are optimized based on statistics method. Finally, the computer simulation shows the validity of the algorithm, and performance of the algorithm is greatly improved after optimization.
