Abstract
This paper presents the preliminary results of ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) devices for the automated detection of myocardial ischemia. We focus on the reduction of interfering artifacts such as baseline wander and motion artifacts that corrupt ambulatory ECG signals and affect accuracy of ST analysis. Several digital signal processing techniques are developed for testing recorded ECG signals. Computer simulation results are presented to show feasibility of these life-saving devices.
