Abstract
In order to make a quantitative analysis on spatial pattern of headquarters about top 500 enterprises of Chinese service industries, the software of ArcGIS 9.2 was adopted. The results showed that the headquarters were mainly distributed in the eastern coast region of China. The value of global Moran´s I was about 0.11. High value regions were all distributed in the eastern coast region of China and the cluster regions with high value were distributed in Yangtze Delta Region and areas surrounding Bo Sea. Both hot spot and sub-hot regions were mainly distributed in the eastern coast region of China, while the vast majority of regions in the central and western China were cold spot or sub-cold regions. The distribution pattern of hot spot regions mainly distributed in the Yangtze Delta Region and areas surrounding Bo Sea, remained stable. However, the advantage of Pearl River Delta was decreasing day by day.
