Abstract
This paper describes the techniques employed for hardening a digital controller to meet stringent emission standards, both conducted and radiated. The digital controller is used for critical system interlocking and sequencing operations and data exchange with on-board computers. This paper deals with the hardening of the switching power supply in the digital controller to meet MIL-STD-461C for conducted and radiated emission limits
