Abstract :
The spectral-domain approach (SDA) is used to investigate the dispersion characteristics of microstrip lines on anisotropic substrate. The Green´s function expression and the spectral integral expression are simplified with differential matrix operator technique and closed-form asymptotic extraction. The influence of tensor elements and different mutual misalignment angle on the microstrip dispersion characteristics is investigated, the results show that the tensor elements ¿2 and ¿1 have much more stronger influence on the effective dielectric constant, and the effective dielectric constant will be decreased with the increase of mutual misalignment angle ¿, ¿1 and ¿1, but increased with the increase of ¿.
