Abstract :
This paper describes a simple way to measure the reflection from an element of a reflecting array for any incident polarization angle. As with most studies which evaluate a single element designed to operate in an array environment, measurement is done using the waveguide simulator technique. Elements are placed in a waveguide and the metallic walls of the waveguide simulate an infinite array environment. As an example, the reflection from a single dipole above a ground plane is characterized
