Abstract
A modified on-surface discretized boundary equation (OS-DBE) method is proposed for solving scattering problems of conducting cylinders with electrically large concave parts. It utilizes the original OS-DBE to determine the surface current density on the convex part point by point, while obtains the current distribution for the concave area by the OS-DBE in only one operation. Numerical results are presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed approach.
