Abstract :
The tips of Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were opened then Nickel was filled by means of hydrothermal oxidation/ultrasonic vibration method. Chemical kinetics analysis of Ni filled in CNTs was carried out. Ultrasonic vibration made relative pressure increasing and resulting in great volume of Ni(NO3)2 solution filled into CNTs. At the same time, the radius of carbon tube capillary is so small that the concentration of nickel solute condensed in CNTs is quite high and resulting in nickel and nickel oxide nano- particles forming in CNTs after drying.
