Abstract :
In this paper, the development of an compact RF transceiver for the WiMAX access point (AP) is presented. The RF transceiver operates in the 3500 MHz frequency band and has excellent performance, such as high output power, high sensitivity, good linearity, high efficiency and low EVM. The design and measurement of the RF transceiver is described in detail. The transmitting output power of the RF transceiver is up to 1 W with the EVM lower than -35 dB, and receiving noise figure is lower than 4 dB.
