Abstract :
Nowadays, VLSI technology has provided the high performance digital devices as well as analog devices. By mixing the discrete control and the analog control called switched control has been applied to various systems, such as robotic system, automotive power-train systems, computer disk drives and the adaptive system. This paper presents a switched controller for parameter adaptation in MRACS. The switched controller consists of a set of analog controller and a switching controller. The switching controller will select an analog controller from the set of analog controller with suitable duty ratio and connects it into the closed loop controlled system. So then the characteristic of closed loop controlled system will be adapted by this duty ratio of switching of each analog controller. The simulation results show the effectiveness of proposed adaptive control.
