Abstract :
The realization of a clock-shot A/D (analog-to-digital) converter, alternatively called a dual-shot A/D converter, is shown. The resolution of the converter is 2 μV. The low offset (10 μV) has been obtained by using a novel bipolar voltage chopper. The circuit can be combined with a thermal flow sensor on one chip. This smart sensor is directly compatible with a microprocessor or a digital bus system
