  • Abstract
With the wide application of information technology and accelerated pace of global informationization, it has become increasingly important to manage achieves information for it to fit into the global information age. Based on analyzing the features of archives management, the present research probes into the idea to develop an information system applied to archives management. This system employs the multi-tier computing model based on C/S (Client / Server) and B/S (Browser / Server), which takes. NET as development language. By designing network topological structure and database security strategies as well as authorizing users through the system, it achieves data security and satisfies the various requirements of different people. The system realizes the effective connecting and functioning of archives management and information network, and accordingly realizes the archives information sharing.
