Abstract :
The paper deals with thermally stimulated current (TSC) and space-charge measurements on epoxy resin and polycarbonate specimens. Slices cut out of reels with one mm thickness and different surface conditions served as specimens. After a description of the specimen and the test procedure the results of TSC, and conductivity measurements of the specimen over the temperature range 0°C to 100°C are introduced. Based on a comparison of the results of epoxy resin and polycarbonate the characteristic of the space-charge in both materials is discussed. Furthermore the space-charge relaxation in these materials is considered
