Abstract :
A Ka band quadrature down-converter monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) is presented. Based on 0.2 um GaAs PHEMT process, the size of the converter is 1 mm × 2 mm. From 31 GHz to 38 GHz, the measured quadrature phase error is less than 15°, and the amplitude unbalance is less than 10 mV.
