Abstract
Summary form only given. As a venture capitalist, we are seeing a new wave of innovation and investment opportunities occurring in the communications industry around fixed and mobile broadband access. This is a result of (1) a growing appetite for ubiquitous accessibility to the Internet and all of the services it can offer, (2) infrastructure technologies maturing to the point of readiness for trial and deployment, and (3) new value-added service offerings being created to leverage the infrastructure. We´ll talk about some of the companies in our portfolio, like Flarion, that are riding this wave.
