Abstract :
Decentralized e-commerce is one of the application areas of P2P infrastructure. And service discovery as to decentralized e-commerce is just like content location as to file sharing. We put forward an efficient service discovery system of decentralized e-commerce, and name it SophiNode. SophiNode tries to simulate the communication process of human being, and adds on each node´s ´experience´ and ´intuition´, so that it can be smart enough to find the right shortcut when forwarding queries. A particular organization of service information base is designed to avoid scaling problems as well as improve search efficiency. A set of node sophistication metrics along with the concept of sophisticated node is adopted, so that each node could tell which neighbor is relatively more powerful and sophisticated. At the end, we present our simulation and analyze the results.
