  • Abstract
Two practical methods to identifying chaotic characters are presented for Duffing oscillator used to detect weak signal in this paper. One is for distinguishing chaotic motion from periodic motion, and the other is for distinguishing intermittent chaos from period and calculating the cycle time of the intermittent chaos. The first method is based on image recognition, identifying chaos according to the Euler number of the phase graph. The second method is based on frequency spectrum analysis and filtering.
