Abstract
A determination of squirrel cage induction machine parameters including skin effects in steady-state operation is presented by the authors. The tests carried out on the induction machine enabled us to determine the influence of the effect of skin on stator resistance. The induction machine is fed by a frequency variable DC-chopper. The standstill tests also permitted to elaborate the equivalent scheme in which we deduced the parameters from the current-voltage data by the least-squares algorithm.
