Abstract :
In this paper, a new miniature padlock is designed and invented that uses electronic system as its fundamental operator. The lock comes with robust software that is difficult to crack for security purposes. The lock is small in size, light but firm and does not need an analog key, offering huge boosts of convenience. With keys being removed from the scenario, lots of problems that conventional lock poses are solved. Its water resistance and shock resistance features make it robust and a perfect solution for everyday security needs. Electronic system integrated within the lock would simulate a tumbler-rotating mechanism by using an electronic DC Motor. The lock uses conventional modular locking mechanism which has been upgraded to digital use that would react to correct entry of passwords.
