Abstract :
This paper proposed an accurate analytical method to calculate the current harmonic components of uncontrolled rectifiers. These analyses are greatly simplified through superposition method. All the calculations are purely algebraic, with high accuracy. The validity of the proposed method is demonstrated by comparison with the results of time-domain simulation. Therefore, choice of power compensation strategies, as well as design of compensation systems can be optimized with these accurate estimated harmonic currents. And it can also be used in the controller design for the inverter systems powering rectifier loads
