Abstract :
The high loadability limits of transmission lines, without much compromise on voltage stability are essential for most of the electrical companies. In this paper, the use of repeated power flow technique is used to study the effect of loadability on voltage stability. The impact of variation of active, reactive powers or effect of line outage or load shedding on voltage stability is studied. Also the effect of increasing load with constant power factor operation, tap changing transformers or injection of reactive power on voltage stability has been studied
