Abstract
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) requires magnetic fields that are strong, have high homogeneity, and have high temporal stability. Such a magnetic field can be realised by a superconducting magnet. This paper shows how a coil configuration for generating a homogeneous magnetic field can be found
