Abstract :
This paper is a catalogue of seven inter-locked propositions about the future of software project management as a tool for getting software products out of the door. The authors claim that, while software project management is here to stay, the day-to-day activities of project managers are likely to dramatically change over the next ten years, and that the current methods of training project managers may not be giving students the most immediately usable skills
