Abstract :
Generally the size of the power inverters is determined by its output LC filter since it is bulky. It can be made smaller using the higher switching frequency. However, in high-power inverters we can not increase the switching frequency due to switching losses limitations. Optimal PWM is the most efficient way to reduce THD while the switching frequency is low. The technique used in this paper is based on optimal PWM to remove low frequency harmonics up to 78th
