Abstract :
The location of the public service facilities is very important in urban planning. There are two methods of public service facilities location, grid analysis and vector analysis. The combination of these two methods can accurate the location result to a parcel. However, the public service facilities need a certain area of land, and location results of different kinds of public service facilities may converge to the same parcel. Both these two cases may result in high construction intensity in some regions, which may exceed FAR (Floor Area Ratio) value in urban planning. Therefore, an improved method based on FAR inversion calculation model is proposed in this paper. The location result must be verified by the new model in different planning class, such as parcel, unit. Finally, the location of primary school of Huanghua city is taken as an instance to verify the effectiveness of inverse calculation of floor area ration model.
