Abstract :
The diffraction of a plane electromagnetic wave by a cylinder with fractal properties of the surface is investigated. The results of designing an integro-differential model of the conductive cylinder are represented on the basis of representations of the fractal geometry of a surface of actual scatterers. The obtained α-characteristics of the electromagnetic field has allowed generalization in the classical theory of diffraction of electromagnetic waves on conductive bodies
