Abstract
4G issue has been addressed since 3G disappointed the investor and users and has been getting a lot of attention from both academia society and industry sector as an ultimate solution for ubiquitous mobile broadband service. However, at the same time, 4G has been criticized as a yet another hype by media. In this paper, the 4G definition and its key requirements are discussed and see how it can provide new values and tools to the players in mobile communication ecosystem
