Abstract :
In order to Investigation some changes which are created above time in poplar cultivated surface preparing updated map of poplar is one of the most important requirements in the management and region agricultural planning. In this research, surveying of poplar plantation investigated using IRS Satellite images in the region including province of Guilan, Iran. The method evaluated to images controlled classification in order to separate spectrum reflex planting poplar lands from the other vegetation by supervises classification and Maximum likelihood method. The results indicate that in classification of images with spectrum reflex statistics, more than 90% of training points had again poplar class in the poplar plantation classified map.
