Abstract :
Cross-modulation distortion in ultra wideband OFDM receivers is analyzed using the statistical properties of a QPSK baseband signal. A closed form expression relating the cross-modulation power spectral density to the jammer power and the third-order nonlinearities in the receiver is provided. The derived power spectral density is compared with results obtained from a full system simulation and the expression is used to relate system performance to third-order nonlinearities in the receiver front end
