Abstract
Geospatial Early Warning System of the Insect Pest is built to take full advantage of local and network data sources, which are constantly changing when used in the early warning system of pest. The system is a Web GIS that was developed as the B/S structure based on SOA. It implements a wide range of services through the integration or combination of components using Web Service technology, and its Early Warning module was realized based on Back-Propagation Neural Network (BPNN). Simultaneously, Web ADF control is used to manage and use spatial data, by which the effectual integration of spatial data sources on different platforms is realized. This system also provides various mathematical models and multiple output to support good expression of predicting outcomes. Due to feasible structural design, the system enjoys excellent expandability and effective modules reuse, the maintenance and improvement of system are convenient.
