Abstract
The study of electromagnetic phenomena in the time domain within the scope of the classical approach has faced the problems of a principal nature. An evolutionary approach to electromagnetics (EAE) has been proposed as an alternative tool capable of overcoming the difficulties in the development of electromagnetics for the time domain. In this paper, the idea of EAE is explained and two examples of its application are demonstrated
